Radxa Introduces Dual 2.5G Router HAT to Enhance Connectivity for Raspberry Pi 5 and Other Single-Board Computers

Radxa has unveiled its new Dual 2.5G Router HAT, an add-on board designed to enhance connectivity options for single-board computers, including the Raspberry Pi 5 and other compatible models. This innovative board features two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, which are powered by a Realtek RTL8125B controller, providing a significant boost in network speed for users.

In addition to its dual Ethernet ports, the Router HAT includes an M.2 2280 connector for PCIe 3.0/2.0 storage solutions or other expansions. The board is designed to work seamlessly with single-board computers that feature a 40-pin GPIO header and an FPC connector, limiting compatibility to newer models such as the Raspberry Pi 5, along with Radxa’s own ROCK series boards.

The add-on also comes complete with a small heat sink and a set of screws and standoffs for easy installation. Connectivity is further simplified with an IPEX connector, which is supported by an included FPC to IPEX adapter cable.

The Dual 2.5G Router HAT is available for approximately $40 through retailers like ARACE and AliExpress. For more information, users can visit the Radxa wiki.
